Domestic Assistance

Maintain your daily routines with assistance with domestic chores, including assistance with cleaning, dishwashing, clothes washing, fresh linen and ironing, in order to maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment.

Personal Care

Assistance with daily self-care tasks in order to help to maintain appropriate standards of hygiene and grooming, personal hygiene, including showering, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing and grooming. toileting, bladder and bowel management and menstrual care.

Travel & Transport

Social Activities/Community Participation

Accessing the community to participate in community, social and recreational activities you love or need to attend like a music concert. Activities are either centre-based or out in the community and as such below:

  • Taking personal development courses

  • Joining a social group

  • Outings or vacation activities

  • Camps

  • Visiting your local library

  • Seeing a movie or a concert

  • Going to community events, and/or

  • Joining a sporting club.

Group/Centred-Based Activities

Assistance to encourage participants to join in community, social and recreational activities with a group for the purpose of meeting new people, making new friends, participating in activities, and learning new skills, all while socialising and having fun. Group/Centre Activities also assist participants to develop critical skills like handling money, planning and organising activities, using computers, and resume building.
A broad range group-based activities and programs are as such as below:

  • Arts and crafts 

  • Music

  • Sport 

  • Dance 

  • Board games

  • Trivia 

  • Disco  

  • Cooking 

  • Tours 

  • Travel

Development of Life Skills

Development of daily living and life skills focuses on training and development activities undertaken by the participant or their carer to increase their ability to live as autonomously as possible.

Programs are offered one to one or in a group. Our programs can include:

 

  • Meal planning and preparation

  • Personal hygiene – Presentation and personal grooming

  • Physical wellbeing – exercise and relaxation

  • Money handling /Bill paying

  • Job readiness – resume and interview preparation

  • Household tasks

  • Public transport training

  • Communication and social skills

  • Working with the public trustee

  • Time management

  • Managing medications and medical appointments

  • Self-care

  • Sleeping well

  • Problem solving

  • Support with literacy and numeracy

Plan Management

Plan management is a type of disability service funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The overarching function of plan management is to assist and support NDIS participants to manage and monitor their NDIS plan funding.

Life Stage Transition

Assistance in coordinating or managing life stages, transition and supports

Includes short and long-term supports that focus on strengthening the participant’s ability to coordinate their supports, and to assist them to stay at home and participate in community activities.

Includes:

  • support connection

  • coordination of supports

  • assistance with accommodation and tenancy obligations

  • life transition planning including mentoring, peer support and individual skill development

  • assistance with decision making, daily planning, budgeting

  • improved wellness programs such as cooking, gardening and fitness classes.

  • High intensity daily personal activities such as personal grooming, meditation, sensory programs and music and dance classes.
